Sarah 3 Years Old
September 19. Sarah is 3 years old today, and we celebrated the event with friends and family.
On the day, we started with breakfast and birthday presents, then Sarah went to her new kindergarden, bringing cake and fresh bread for her friends.
Saturday we had a big party for our friends and finally, on Sunday Michael's parents, Erik & Bente visited us for dinner - and more presents for Sarah.
Now she has declared, she wants more birthdays.

Gabriel 8 Months Old
November 3. Gabriel is really getting big - he is 8 months old today and has changed quite a bit the last weeks. He used to be a 100% mothers boy, only wanting to be fed by his mother and generally only wanting to be carried by her when he was tired.
Now, he is increasingly happy to sit or play with his father as well, and I has even been able to make him fall asleep in my arms a couple of times this week. Something that was impossible a month ago.

New Web Site Layout
As you may have noticed, I have changed the layout of the Web site quite a bit. I have decided to move away from Typepad, that host most of my Web site and create it in RapidWeaver on my Mac instead. This gives a lot of flexibility without much more work.
The old blog has now been deleted to save space and money.

Rochelle's Birthday
Saturday October 4., 2008. We had a birthday big party for Rochelle today with around 20 guests celebrating her. She brought along her very best friend Michael and a several girls we never met before. There is a never ending stream of new Philippine Au-Pair's arriving and leaving, it can be hard to keep track of all of them.
One of the new arrivals was newcomer Judith, who just arrived a few weeks ago.
As usual there were lots of food, this time it was mostly prepared by Rochelle. After dinner it was again time for Kareoke and opening of her birthday presents.

Gabriel in Capella Play
November 15, 2008, Both Gabriel and Sarah are still suffering from a cold, coughing and having a bit of fever now and then, but they were also very bored staying at home, so we brought them to Capella Play today. Capella is a big indoor playground in the Fields Shopping Centre in Copenhagen.
Previously, Gabriel would mostly sit with Lerma or sleep when Sarah was playing there, but he is starting to show more interest in the toys there. Click this link for a few more pictures of Gabriel and Lerma in Capella.

March 3, 2009. Gabriel is 1 year old today and we started the day with a small celebration in the morning before Gabriel went to daycare. We had prepared chocolate cake and buns for the celebration at daycare so he could party there as well.
The main party was on Saturday, March 7, where we had a large number of guests celebrating the day. Several of our friends have small children now, so there were plenty of activity in the house during the evening.

Gabriel and iPod Touch
March 15, 2009. Sarah has been using Lerma's iPod Touch for watching movies for quite some time, but today Gabriel grabbed the iPod and watched Bob the Builder like he had been using the device for ages. He is very observant and copies what we are doing to his best effort.

Bente og Erik's Fødselsdagsfest på Peter Liep
May 31, 2009. Erik og Bente holdt deres fælles 155 års fødselsdag på Peter Liep's hus ved Dyrehavsbakken i Klampenborg. Det var et ideelt samlingssted hvor børnene kunne lege på legepladsen når de var trætte af at sidde til bords. De mange mennesker og hestevognene fascinerede både Gabriel og Sarah. Efter en overdådig frokost og the/kaffe i gårdhaven var vi en tur på Bakken med børnene. Det blev kun til en kort tur, der var alt for mange mennesker til at det var behageligt for både børn og voksne at bevæge sig rundt eller stå i kø ved forlystelserne.
